David is a medical practitioner who qualified in Medicine in 1983 at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. He studied anaesthetics at St Thomas Hospital in London, and practised in many countries around the world before returning to London in 1991 to specialise in practice-based dental anaesthesia and sedation.

He has a full 13 years experience in dental sedation, having been at the forefront of the development of the referral system. He has successfully treated many thousands of nervous and phobic patients, as well as providing sedation for difficult and lengthy oral surgery and implant cases. He feels that there is absolutely no substitute for experience in these situations.

He is registered with The Resuscitation Council as an Advanced Life Support provider and a member of the ADA [The Association of Dental Anaesthetists] and SAAD [The Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry].
