How is the fee payment
arranged?
At the initial consultation, the specialist will ensure
that the patient knows how much their treatment will cost
and when they will need to pay for it. The quotation will
be written in their records.
Normally, the patient is asked to pay 50% of the total
cost on booking the appointment for their treatment. These
costs relate to the preparatory work that must be done
prior to their arriving for treatment.
When a treatment plan letter is sent to the patient, there
will be a detailed quotation informing them that 50% of
the treatment fee is payable at the time of booking their
appointment.
When a treatment does not need a prior consultation or
a treatment plan letter, the referring dentist and/or
receptionist should inform the patient of costs according
to Our Services section and
of the above payment protocol. |
